The Western Paradise

Out of such questions arose the vision for The WP in 2003 after singer songwriter Jessel Harry's one year stint in NYC while gigging in various East Village jaunts. The songs move effortlessly from garage rock, altcountry and roots rock in a style that could be termed post modern trailer trash rock. Disjointed characters living on the fringe form the lyrical basis for the musical characters.

You could build a nation with men like The Western Paradise. A nation bedazzled with the fury of Rock and Roll, tube amps, dark cinema, kickboxing, poetry, painting, vicious propaganda and primitive procreation. Make a joyful noise. Render your hearts. Foam at your filthy mouths you miserable miscreants.
