My surgery is this Wed at UCLA. I can use all the prayers and positive vibes I can get on this one folks. I'll be in the hospital for about a week according to my surgeon, then home for several months of healing before they do another surgery to reconnect my plumbing. Not thrilled with this, but I'm told it is my best option for the best outcome - to be cancer free. I wish I could say I'm prepared for this, but I guess no one ever really is, are they? I'm just going to focus on the best possible positive outcome and leave the rest to a higher power and trust in that and my team of doctors. The good news is that I will have the "A Team" of surgeons going into this, so my odds are pretty good. Thanks to all of you who have followed my journey thus far and for you love, support and prayers. As soon as I'm up and about again I'll give you all an update. Love to all.
